We’re over 500 pages now. Crazy!
I’m struggling with a bit of artist block right now, but hopefully it’ll pass soon.

We’re sorry about the short hiatus, but there’s been some stuff going on (Mattias was out of town for a week, after some fretting around I went to the international comics festival in Copenhagen, Komiks.dk, my brother graduated…) and also, the weather has been absolutely lovely which hasn’t exactly helped us focus on indoors stuff like comicking and such. ;) After this loooooooooong winter, and knowing all too well how the most of Swedish summers tend to rain away, we just had to take the opportunity to spend some time in the sun.
Anyway – enough with the excuses and onto the comics. You get 8 pages this time to make up for this site being a little quiet the last few weeks. :3 This time we’ll continue on Dores’ flashback. The last time we saw her she was a happy little camper, having just found some confidence and a purpose at the end of Chapter Two.
Oh yeah, about the whole “the next chapter is the last chapter of WBK” deal. Well. We were met with some healthy scepticism about that and we think you may be right. We’re not sure yet. See, storywise it really feels like we’re going into the last fourth of the story now, so we are heading for the end, but yes, it might actually be impossible for us to get it all down in only ~160 pages. We always knew the last chapter would be perhaps a little longer than the others, but we never thought there would be enough pages for five full chapters. Now we’re not so sure anymore. We’re going to have to finish thumbnailing the whole script before we can say for sure how long it will be. Oh well. (To be honest this new insight was a bit anti-climactic for us. We really thought we’d be done soon…)

Ps. There seems to have been some debating going on about page 487 that we haven’t had the time to participate in. Well, here’s what we have to say about it:
Dores’ and Vandi’s relationship and whether or not they are more than friends is intentionally ambiguous and will not be explored further than this (at least not in What Birds Know, but possibly in future spin-offs ;)). Make of it what you wish. As for whether or not they’re having sex in this particular scene… uhh. O_o No.
As for the discussion about whether gay people can have sex or not… Uhh (again). O_o I’m trying hard to think of a witty reply but can’t really come up with one at this hour of day (it’s 04:30 in the morning here) so let’s just put it like this: Yes. Yes, they can. *stares blankly*
